What You'll Do14
- 1Operate CNC production equipment safely and efficiently
- 2Load and unload parts while maintaining production requirements
- 3Monitor equipment throughout the machining process
- 4Perform dimensional inspections to verify parts meet specifications
- 5Use micrometers calipers gauges and other precision measuring instruments
- 6Run established CMM inspection programs as required
- 7Record and chart dimensional inspection data
- 8Monitor dimensional trends and identify potential quality concerns
- 9Make basic machine process offset or tooling adjustments according to established procedures
- 10Identify machine tooling and process-related issues
- 11Perform routine equipment checks and basic machine maintenance
- 12Complete required production and quality documentation
- 13Follow established safety quality and manufacturing procedures
- 14Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements11
- 1Previous CNC machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2Basic understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling
- 3Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing specifications
- 4Experience performing dimensional inspections
- 5Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and gauges
- 6Ability to recognize dimensional changes and potential quality issues
- 7Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- 8Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
- 9High-volume manufacturing experience preferred
- 10Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus
- 11Ability to work either 2nd or 3rd shift
