Overview
CNA role supporting patient care in a subacute unit at Culver City hospitals serving Los Angeles. You will assist with vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and comfort while maintaining a clean, safe environment. You will work with licensed nurses and unit staff to ensure quality patient care and HIPAA compliance. This part-time night position offers hands-on patient interaction in a hospital setting.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build patient care routines by measuring vital signs and documenting changes
- 2Assist with hygiene, elimination, and comfort activities for patients
- 3Support mobility and positioning to prevent complications
- 4Maintain a clean, safe unit environment and inventory patient belongings
- 5Collaborate with licensed nurses on specimen collection and transport
- 6Communicate patient needs and changes clearly to the care team
- 7Record accurate documentation and adhere to infection control procedures
- 8Protect patient privacy and dignity during all care activities
- 9Contribute to a team environment through proactive, thoughtful action
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2CNA certification in the state of CA
- 3AHA Basic Life Support certification
- 4Understanding of basic medical terminology
- 5Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- 6Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City Employees only)
- 7Prior patient care experience
- 8Bilingual skills are a plus
- 9Availability for part-time night shifts
