What You'll Do9
- 1Build relationships with patients and visitors to facilitate smooth transportation experiences

- 3Own the mobility process from request to completion while adhering to hospital protocols
- 4Drive vehicles safely and maintain vehicle condition during daily routes
- 5Deliver medical equipment and supplies while documenting all movements
- 6Collaborate with nursing staff to understand patient needs and preferences
- 7Provide compassionate support that respects patient dignity and emotional well being
- 8Maintain accurate records of patient transfers and equipment status
- 9Contribute ideas to improve transportation efficiency within the unit
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2AHA Basic Life Support certification
- 3Valid Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card for Los Angeles City employees
- 4Physical stamina for constant walking and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- 5Strong English communication skills and ability to read and write effectively
- 63-5 years of patient transport experience preferred
- 7Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- 8Experience with AWS and Kubernetes systems relevant to healthcare logistics
- 9Proficiency in React for internal tool development
