What You'll Do10
- 1Groom and bathe patients with low mobility to maintain hygiene and comfort.
- 2Prepare each patient's room with blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and toiletries.
- 3Assist patients with eating and medication timing to ensure proper intake.
- 4Monitor vitals and behavior, reporting changes to the nursing and medical staff.
- 5Transfer patients from wheelchair to bed and back using safe techniques.
- 6Turn or adjust patients in bed to prevent bedsores.
- 7Collect samples for laboratory tests and document results.
- 8Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive measures.
- 9Communicate updates and concerns to the supervising nurse or physician.
- 10Maintain patient records and confidentiality per HIPAA.
Requirements7
- 1Valid CNA license in the state of employment.
- 2Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
