What You'll Do11
- 1Support nursing staff by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing dressing grooming shaving feeding and restorative nursing procedures
- 2Maintain cleanliness of resident living areas and promptly answer call lights
- 3Check in new residents and assist with transfers while documenting changes in condition to the charge nurse
- 4Perform vital signs and monthly weight assessments recording results in the electronic medical record
- 5Document meal monitoring bowel and bladder status and restorative records for assigned residents
- 6Detect and report potential hazards to prevent accidents or injuries
- 7Ensure work areas remain safe and organized while adhering to infection control protocols
- 8Follow established safety procedures when using equipment and maintain proper tool storage
- 9Attend required meetings and complete shift reports as directed by the nursing leadership
- 10Participate in continuing education and on-the-job training programs
- 11Submit days off and payroll requests promptly
Requirements9
- 1Must possess a current Certified Nurse Assistant certificate issued in New Jersey
- 2Physically and mentally capable of performing routine repetitive tasks
- 3Ability to read write and speak English fluently
- 4Valid COVID-19 vaccination status
- 5Demonstrated compassion and professionalism when interacting with residents families and staff
- 6Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation in the electronic health record
