What You'll Do8
- 1Observe residents and report health changes to the supervising nurse within the first week
- 2Assist with personal hygiene: bed baths, shaving, oral care, and grooming
- 3Serve meal trays, document food and fluid intake, and feed residents who need help
- 4Turn bedridden residents every 2 hours to prevent bedsores
- 5Transport residents safely within the facility for tests, meals, and activities
- 6Maintain clean and tidy living spaces, changing linens and organizing rooms
- 7Document care activities in the EMR system and maintain resident confidentiality
- 8Support the care team during shift handoffs and emergency response
Requirements6
- 1Current NY State CNA certification and good standing on the State Registry
- 2Successful completion of a CNA training program
- 3Ability to work as part of a care team in a skilled nursing environment
- 4Physical capability to lift and transfer residents, stand for long periods
- 5Commitment to maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality
- 6Availability for full-time shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays
