Clinician - SUD & Behavioral Health | Baltimore
Overview
As a Licensed Clinician on our Baltimore team, you own a caseload of SUD and co-occurring clients, delivering outpatient therapy and assessments. You operate under a hybrid model with at least one on-site day per week, balancing autonomy with clear clinical oversight. You join a structured program that prioritizes quality care, timely documentation, and professional accountability, with fee-for-service compensation based on billable hours.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide individual and group therapy for SUD and co-occurring clients using evidence-based interventions like CBT and MI.
- 2Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and reassessments within 48 hours of client contact.
- 3Deliver trauma-informed care and apply ASAM criteria for level of care placement.
- 4Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Maryland Medicaid and program standards.
- 5Manage your caseload and schedule in coordination with the team, ensuring consistent client engagement and attendance.
- 6Collaborate with clinical leadership, care coordinators, and recovery support staff to coordinate care.
- 7Meet agreed-upon billable hour expectations each month.
- 8Participate in required meetings and clinical oversight sessions, and be present on-site at least one day per week.
Requirements7
- 1Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- 2Active Maryland license: LGADC, LCADC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent.
- 31+ years experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment.
- 4Knowledge of ASAM criteria and level of care placement.
- 5Strong documentation, organization, and time management skills.
- 6Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication and follow-through.
- 7Comfortable working in a structured and accountable environment.
