Overview

Independent Contractor position overseeing clinical supervision for Substance Use Disorder services. Provide leadership to addiction counselors and ensure quality of outpatient and intensive outpatient programs. Candidate will drive clinical excellence and staff development.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Provide individual and group clinical supervision to addiction counselors and clinical staff
  • 2Offer case consultation on complex clinical needs and treatment barriers
  • 3Support clinicians using ASAM criteria for level-of-care decisions
  • 4Review assessments and documentation for quality and medical necessity
  • 5Guide evidence-based interventions such as motivational interviewing and relapse prevention
  • 6Monitor documentation quality and give feedback to improve clinical records
  • 7Assist with staff competency development and professional training
  • 8Participate in case reviews and quality improvement activities
  • 9Ensure compliance with Maryland regulations and HIPAA requirements
  • 10Collaborate with leadership to enhance recovery-oriented services
  • 11Identify and address clinical or ethical concerns needing follow-up

Requirements10

  • 1Current unrestricted Maryland LCADC license
  • 2Unrestricted ability to provide clinical supervision in Maryland
  • 3Experience with substance use disorder treatment services
  • 4Knowledge of ASAM criteria and levels of care
  • 5Proven experience with substance use assessments and treatment planning
  • 6Strong clinical documentation and supervision skills
  • 7Understanding of co-occurring mental health disorders
  • 8Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality
  • 9Ability to work collaboratively with independent professionals
  • 10Previous supervisory experience with addiction counselors
