Clinician, Mental Health Outpatient Services NY
Overview
The Clinician will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages at the MHOTRS clinic in Yonkers, serving the Lower Hudson Valley. You will work within an integrated behavioral health team, using trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. You will document care, coordinate with community partners, and support clients toward recovery in a person-centered model. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver individual, group and family psychotherapy to clients
- 2Document client progress in a timely manner and ensure compliance with regulations
- 3Maintain a full caseload with a typical day including 8–9 sessions
- 4Coordinate treatment and transitions with community agencies and resources
- 5Participate in program development and training programs
- 6Follow clinic policies and procedures and uphold professional standards
- 7Collaborate with team on care coordination and external referrals
- 8Contribute to open access scheduling and performance metrics
- 9Engage in trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
- 10Support recovery by applying evidence-based practices in a holistic approach
Requirements10
- 1Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school
- 2Licensed in New York State (LMSW LMHC LMFT LCSW) or Limited permit in good standing
- 3Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- 4Must be reliable, able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- 5Basic computer skills and ability to document in an electronic health record
- 6Clearance by NYS Justice Center for Criminal History Records
- 7Clearance by Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs SEL and Medicaid Exclusion List
- 8Clearance by NYS OCFS for child abuse/neglect
- 9Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
- 10Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
