What You'll Do8
- 1Supervise a team of therapists, providing clinical guidance and case conceptualization through weekly case conferences and peer consultation.
- 2Own the clinical quality of therapy sessions for adults, adolescents, and children, integrating evidence-based models to drive treatment.
- 3Build a collaborative caseload of 38 client hours per week, including 3 evenings, with a steady referral stream and no weekend work.
- 4Lead psychoeducation initiatives that recognize the value and strengths of all clients served.
- 5Consult with colleagues on complex cases, sharing perspectives from psychodynamic, gestalt, and family systems frameworks.
- 6Document case notes in HIPAA-compliant software, ensuring accurate and timely records for insurance billing.
- 7Mentor therapists in using CBT and mindfulness techniques for quick symptom relief.
- 8Embed in a supportive team culture, participating in year-round social events and professional development opportunities.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of clinical supervisory experience with a Psy.D. and independent license in New York State.
- 2Master's degree or higher in psychology, counseling, or a related field, with a valid New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
- 3Availability for afternoon/evening shifts, with weekend availability as a plus.
- 4Ability to conceptualize cases and apply a treatment model to drive therapy outcomes.
- 5Experience with diverse client populations, including couples and children, is a plus.
- 6Enrollment on insurance panels is welcomed but not required.
- 7Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
