What You'll Do9

  • 1Apply the nutrition care process to evaluate patient nutritional needs and implement therapeutic interventions documented in the electronic health record
  • 2Deliver nutrition education and health promotion through patient consultations and grant program outreach
  • 3Coordinate patient information with clinicians to ensure continuity of care and adherence to treatment plans
  • 4Educate Health Education staff on nutrition guidelines and evaluate medication supplement interactions
  • 5Develop educational materials aligned with local standards and conduct quality assurance reviews
  • 6Participate in specialty team meetings and quality improvement initiatives to refine clinical practices
  • 7Establish self management goals with patients and perform follow up visits based on primary care schedules
  • 8Collaborate with external organizations to secure additional resources for patient care
  • 9Attend training conferences and maintain professional development credentials

Requirements6

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field with preference for two years community clinical experience
  • 2Current Registered Dietitian credential from Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • 3Bilingual English Spanish proficiency preferred
  • 4Compliance with vaccine mandates including COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
  • 5Experience with nutrition care processes and documentation systems
  • 6Ability to work flexible hours without weekend commitments
