What You'll Do11
- 1Design and deliver evidence-based nutrition interventions for complex conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular disease
- 2Conduct comprehensive assessments to create individualized care plans aligned with patient needs
- 3Implement virtual counseling using digital platforms to enhance accessibility and patient engagement
- 4Lead quality improvement initiatives to elevate nutrition service delivery standards
- 5Maintain detailed EHR documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination
- 6Develop educational materials and lead workshops on evidence-based nutrition practices
- 7Analyze clinical data to inform nutrition recommendations and track patient progress
- 8Advocate for patient-centered care through motivational interviewing and tailored counseling approaches
- 9Ensure HIPAA compliance while managing sensitive patient information securely
- 10Participate in team meetings and cross-functional projects to drive organizational excellence
- 11Contribute to community outreach initiatives promoting nutrition literacy and wellness
Requirements10
- 1Current Registered Dietitian credential through CDR in good standing
- 2Delaware licensure or ability to obtain before employment
- 3Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Dietetics or related field
- 4Master's degree preferred with RD/RDN credential
- 52+ years clinical nutrition experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy
- 6Proven expertise in chronic disease management including diabetes hypertension renal disease gastrointestinal disorders
- 7Specialized knowledge in bariatric nutrition and procedures such as gastric bypass sleeve gastrectomy
- 8Strong communication skills for patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration
- 9Ability to commute to Wilmington DE location
- 10Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with clinical guidelines
