Overview
You will own client engagement for a leading event linen provider, guiding customers from first inquiry to final invoice. You will work directly with brides, planners, and corporate clients to select linen, tabletop, and drapery solutions that fit their vision. You will join a close-knit sales support team of 5 in a showroom and office setting. This role stands out for its mix of creative consultation and operational precision, with direct exposure to event logistics.
What You'll Do8
- 1Field client inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in-person showroom visits, responding within 2 hours during business hours.
- 2Consult with clients on linen colors, fabrics, and sizing, using 3D event mockups to finalize selections.
- 3Prepare itemized quotes and contracts within 24 hours of client meetings, ensuring accurate pricing and deposit collection.
- 4Process payments, credit memos, and account updates in Salesforce with 99% accuracy, reconciling daily.
- 5Build client follow-up sequences for quotes and pending orders, reducing quote-to-order conversion time by 20%.
- 6Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to confirm order timelines, flagging any conflicts with event dates.
- 7Resolve post-event issues such as missing items or damages, escalating complex cases to the operations manager.
- 8Maintain a client database in Excel and Outlook, tracking preferences and order history for repeat business.
Requirements7
- 11-2 years in customer service, hospitality, or event coordination, with direct client interaction.
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort with CRM tools like Salesforce.
- 3Strong written and verbal communication, evidenced by drafting clear, professional emails and phone scripts.
