Class A CDL Driver, Nitrogen Transport
Overview
You will own the safe operation and mobilization of nitrogen transport units for USA DeBusk Nitrogen in the Houston, Texas area. Reporting to the field operations lead, you will join a team of Class A CDL drivers and field technicians supporting oil and gas customers across Texas and the Southern US. This role stands apart through direct ownership of equipment readiness, on-site safety, and interstate travel.
What You'll Do7
- 1Operate Nitrogen Transports and pump units with minimal supervision, ensuring safe and compliant land-based operations.
- 2Mobilize equipment by driving Class A CDL vehicles and pickup trucks to job locations across Texas and interstate routes.
- 3Conduct pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of nitrogen pumps, transports, and auxiliary equipment.
- 4Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of nitrogen units, including monitoring pump and injection rates during operations.
- 5Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing HSE and SOP standards and actively participating in JSAs and safety meetings.
- 6Drive and load DOT-regulated vehicles carrying company property across state lines, adhering to federal and state regulations.
- 7Exercise STOP WORK AUTHORITY to halt any unsafe operation or condition without hesitation.
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (Hazmat preferred).
- 3Valid TWIC card.
- 4No restrictions on CDL.
- 5Must be legally capable of driving a manual shift truck.
- 6Willing to travel interstate 30-50% of the year.
- 7Able to pass hair follicle and urine drug screens.
- 8Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
