Nitrogen Services Operator - Class A CDL
Overview
Lead ownership of Nitrogen pump operations and transports for land-based projects. Manage equipment inspections and maintenance while ensuring safety compliance. Drive and load DOT-regulated vehicles across interstate routes. Mentor junior staff and maintain detailed operational documentation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate Nitrogen pumps and associated equipment with minimal supervision
- 2Drive Nitrogen pumps and transports to job locations for land-based projects
- 3Conduct pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of equipment
- 4Perform routine maintenance and general upkeep of Nitrogen units
- 5Maintain safe work areas following HSE and SOP manuals
- 6Train and evaluate new operators on Nitrogen equipment procedures
- 7Delegate specific tasks to junior operators during active jobs
- 8Write accurate daily logs and complete JSA documents as required
- 9Participate actively in safety meetings and Job Safety Analysis sessions
- 10Utilize STOP WORK AUTHORITY when safety concerns arise
- 11Travel Interstate 30-50 percent of the year for assignments
Requirements11
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 22 years experience operating a Nitrogen pump
- 3Valid TWIC card
- 4Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- 5Ability to pass hair follicle and urine drug screen
- 6Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods
- 7Willingness to travel interstate regularly
- 8Legally capable of driving manual shift trucks
- 9Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- 10Experience with Nitrogen service line procedures
- 11Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
