Overview
Civil Engineer at Actalent will contribute to site civil and land development projects across K–12, higher education, sporting venues, offices, and municipal facilities. What You'll Do11
- 1Build design documentation including Autodesk Civil 3D models and drawings under senior engineer guidance
- 2Conduct research on materials codes systems and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions
- 3Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery
- 4Perform onsite surveys and document field measurements and site constraints
- 5Assist in producing permit bid and construction drawings ensuring accuracy and compliance
- 6Support construction phase activities including reviewing submittals observations and field conditions
- 7Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D for civil design modelling and documentation of site layouts utilities and stormwater
- 8Perform site civil analyses for site plans utilities stormwater green infrastructure earthwork and erosion control under supervision
- 9Prepare due diligence and site analysis reports including cost utility computations and stormwater analyses
- 10Contribute to cross discipline career development by attending industry events and internal training
- 11Meet project deadlines and maintain clear communication on progress and issues
Requirements9
- 1B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering
- 22+ years of site civil or land development experience a plus
- 3Engineer in Training (EIT) or EI credential or plan to pass the FE exam within the next year
- 4Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and documentation
- 5Experience with site planning design and land development projects
- 6Experience with stormwater management detention and retention concepts
- 7Experience with grading erosion control and green infrastructure concepts
- 8Strong written and oral communication skills for team coordination
- 9Valid driver’s license for site visits and field observations
