What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and review site civil drawings, grading plans, erosion and sediment control, and utility layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation.
- 2Coordinate with local authorities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for secure projects.
- 3Provide field engineering and construction-phase oversight, resolving site-related technical challenges on classified sites.
- 4Review contractor submittals and RFIs related to civil design scopes, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- 5Conduct site investigations, surveys, and as-built verifications to support project documentation.
- 6Design stormwater management systems and ensure compliance with SWPPP, MS4, and related regulations.
- 7Apply UFC, AT/FP, and DoD design standards to all civil engineering deliverables.
- 8Participate in technical meetings and design reviews with agencies and stakeholders, maintaining clear documentation for project closeout.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of civil engineering design and construction experience, focusing on secure or federal projects.
- 2Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain additional clearances as required.
- 3Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- 4PE license or EIT with a track record toward licensure.
- 5Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and related civil design software.
- 6Working knowledge of drainage design, utility coordination, grading, and erosion control measures.
- 7Understanding of DoD design criteria and secure facility requirements, including SCIF/SAPF and AT/FP standards.
- 8Experience with geotechnical analysis, soil stabilization, and pavement design.
- 9Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination with agencies and stakeholders.
