Overview
Own the children’s ministry from nursery through fifth grade and manage church operations to support a thriving Sunday experience. Lead safety, programming, and volunteer development while ensuring a welcoming, nurturing environment for families. Act as a connector between families and church leadership to foster spiritual growth and community. This role blends ministry leadership with day-to-day administrative operations to keep the church functioning smoothly.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead and oversee all children’s ministry programs from nursery through elementary
- 2Program the Sunday morning experience for all children through fifth grade
- 3Complete a comprehensive Child Protection Plan and ensure safety policies are current
- 4Recruit train and schedule volunteers emphasizing personal connection with kids
- 5Maintain church records databases calendars and filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality
- 6Update church website and assist with scheduling church events facility use and ministry calendars
- 7Provide administrative support to pastoral staff and ministry leaders
- 8Coordinate and manage day-to-day tasks that keep the church functioning effectively
