Assistant Director, Early Childhood Education & School Operations
Overview
The role owns daily school operations at a busy early childhood campus, supporting the Director to maintain top standards of care and education at scale. You will help lead staff, ensure licensing compliance, and nurture strong family and community relationships. This position sits within a collaborative team focused on growth, development, and delivering exceptional learning experiences for children. - 1Build and oversee daily school operations to maintain high-quality education and care
- 2Support staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to maintain a strong teaching team
- 3Assist in curriculum and program development to implement engaging early learning experiences
- 4Engage families and the community to foster positive partnerships and open communication
- 5Ensure health, safety, and licensing compliance through regular drills and audits
- 6Manage administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and supplies ordering
- 7Collaborate with the Director to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
- 8Support budgeting and resource planning to optimize classroom and program quality
- 9Drive a culture of safety, inclusion, and professional growth

Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field
- 2At least 3 years of experience teaching in early childhood education
- 3Strong knowledge of child development, early learning best practices, team leadership and classroom management
- 4Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- 5A genuine love for children and commitment to providing high-quality education
- 6Must pass required state background checks and meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
