Overview
Lead a growing Christian formation program for children from birth through sixth grade. Develop and oversee curriculum while building relationships with families and staff. What You'll Do9
- 1Develop and implement Sunday School curriculum aligned with Anglican tradition
- 2Teach children and build relationships during weekly classes and chapel sessions
- 3Oversee monthly fellowship events for upper elementary students
- 4Coordinate Family Ministries events including Advent Wreath Party and Easter activities
- 5Train and equip adult volunteers for children's ministries
- 6Partner with outreach director to develop family service opportunities
- 7Manage event planning logistics budgeting and communications
- 8Recruit and develop spiritual formation opportunities for ministry staff
- 9Collaborate with associate rector on child-focused initiatives
Requirements5
- 1Faith with appreciation of Anglican tradition
- 25+ years experience in children/youth ministries focusing on discipleship
- 3Bachelor’s degree required
- 4Experience with liturgical planning and sacramental preparation
- 5Proficiency with Microsoft Office Canva Sign Up Genius and Constant Contact
