What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead the development and execution of the enterprise technology roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that align with business objectives and drive measurable outcomes.
  • 2Direct the implementation of a comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plan, ensuring operational resilience across all critical systems.
  • 3Drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and API integration to enhance member services and operational efficiency.
  • 4Oversee the management of technology budgets, including capital and operating expenses, to optimize investments and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • 5Collaborate with executive leadership to define technology requirements for new products and services, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • 6Establish and enforce technology standards, policies, and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and interoperability across the organization.
  • 7Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and maximize value from technology partnerships.
  • 8Guide the development and retention of technical talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT team.
  • 9Serve as the primary technology spokesperson, communicating the strategic vision and progress to stakeholders, boards, and staff.

Requirements10

  • 110+ years in technology leadership, with a proven track record of managing complex IT operations and strategic planning.
  • 27+ years experience in the financial services industry, including credit unions or banks, with deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • 3Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 4Expert knowledge of enterprise technology domains: networking, telecommunications, data management, and application development.
  • 5Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • 6Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and building business cases for technology investments.
  • 7Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level and inspire technical teams.
  • 8Proven expertise in project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, to drive on-time delivery.
  • 9Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a self-motivated drive for continuous improvement.
  • 10Familiarity with credit union core processing systems and member-facing technologies is a strong plus.
