Senior Distinguished Engineer Remote Capital One
Overview
You will lead technical vision for card acquisitions engineering, setting technical agenda for core credit capabilities. You will make credit decisions real time and intelligent, spanning dynamic offers and predictive models. This is not a pure architecture role and you will work elbow-to-elbow with squads coding delivering testing and operating systems. The ideal candidate is both a strong engineer and product thinker who understands customer needs and turns vision into reality.

- 8Own the customer acquisitions data ecosystem arming analysts with high-quality data feeds
- 9Lead design and implementation of new credit and lending capabilities
- 10Drive conversion funnel optimization by building platform primitives for real time personalization
- 11Design and implement full-stack coding frontend backend data processing automation
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor’s Degree At least 9 years of experience in Software engineering and solution architecture
- 2At least 9 years of experience in Cloud computing AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud
- 3At least 9 years of experience in Web technologies JavaScript TypeScript SPA frameworks
- 4Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 55+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering organizations
- 610+ years of experience in software engineering distributed systems architecture or platform engineering
- 710+ years of professional experience coding in Java Python Go JavaScriptTypeScript Swift
- 810+ years of professional experience in full lifecycle system development
- 9Deep experience with API design microservices architecture and platform evolution
- 10Experience designing measuring user behavior online A/B tests and growth engineering
- 11Track record of executing large scale migrations designing and launching replacement systems
- 12Experience designing and optimizing real time streaming and batch dataflows enterprise data marts and model execution engines
