Overview
Magnum is a $155M commercial wall-and-ceiling subcontractor based in San Jose, California. The CFO will lead financial strategy driving cash flow and growth. This value-creation seat requires modernizing reporting systems and expanding bonding capacity to support larger projects.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead all accounting operations including job costing and WIP schedules
- 2Produce daily cash-flow reporting and maintain rolling forecasts
- 3Manage treasury and banking relationships while overseeing line of credit
- 4Direct surety bonding relationships and grow capacity for larger pursuits
- 5Lead risk management including insurance and workers’ comp compliance
- 6Partner with President and CEO on strategic planning and capital allocation
- 7Optimize construction technology stack including Foundation and Clearstory
- 8Build mentorship and lead accounting team establishing scalable systems
- 9Guide finance function through growth phases and acquisitions
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 210+ years progressive financial leadership including 5+ senior finance roles in commercial construction
- 3Mastery of construction accounting WIP job costing percentage-of-completion retention
- 4Hands-on surety bonding and lender relationship management
- 5Strong union and prevailing-wage payroll certification experience
- 6Proven leadership of accounting/finance teams and scalable systems development
- 7CCIFP preferred
- 8Ability to relocate to San Jose, CA before start date
- 9Experience with Foundation ERP and Procore busybusy Clearstory
- 10Multi-division operations experience preferred
- 11Construction ERP experience Sage 300 CRE Viewpoint CMiC preferred
