What You'll Do6

  • 1Supervise the total health care delivery system on your unit, ensuring every patient receives comprehensive, coordinated care.
  • 2Monitor nursing service and maintain accurate health records, identifying problems and proposing corrective actions.
  • 3Coordinate with other departments to align patient care and ensure seamless operations.
  • 4Assist with staff orientation, training, and evaluations, and adjust staffing levels to meet contractual requirements.
  • 5Maintain unit cleanliness, appearance, and appropriate levels of medical equipment and supplies.
  • 6Attend monthly staff meetings and foster a professional atmosphere across the unit.

Requirements5

  • 11+ year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • 3Current RN licensure within the state of employment.
  • 4Current CPR Certification.
  • 5Experience in a correctional or acute care setting preferred.
