What You'll Do10
- 1Build quality nursing care through consistent resident rounds at shift start and every two hours
- 2Verify resident identity before care or meals to ensure correct care decisions
- 3Maintain clean and organized resident spaces including beds and bedside tables
- 4Provide water and assistance to residents ensuring accessibility and dignity
- 5Support the Charge Nurse RN Supervisor and Director of Nurses with daily tasks and safety compliance
- 6Report any missing ID bands immediately to ensure accurate resident care
- 7Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing leadership to support resident well being
- 8Engage with residents to deliver emotionally rewarding experiences
- 9Assist with basic restorative activities as directed by supervisors
- 10Document and communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team
Requirements7
- 1Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant
- 2A minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class
- 3Ability to perform tasks in accordance with facility policies and safety rules
- 4Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 5Wamiliar with resident care protocols and dignity in care
- 6Able to work 2PM-10PM shift
