What You'll Do7
- 1Provide personal care to residents, promoting independence and ensuring safety and comfort.
- 2Advise the supervising charge nurse of resident status at the start and end of each shift.
- 3Contribute knowledge of resident conditions and needs to care plans.
- 4Assist in implementing care plans within established policies and procedures.
- 5Observe and report resident conditions, documenting as required.
- 6Perform safe lifting and transfer of residents per established protocols.
- 7Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and perform minor housekeeping tasks.
Requirements7
- 1State certification as a nursing assistant (required).
- 21+ year experience as a Certified Nurse Aide (preferred).
- 3Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant.
- 4Highly developed observation skills.
- 5Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- 6Vision adequate to read medication labels and documents.
- 7Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
