Certified Medical Assistant Back Office Physiotherapy Support
Overview
Own patient intake, clinical support, and documentation in a fast-paced outpatient clinic with a focus on physiotherapy services. You will assist physicians and physiotherapists, manage treatment rooms, and support EHR documentation across departments. This role blends medical office management with hands-on clinical tasks to ensure accurate records and positive patient experiences. You will contribute to comprehensive care while expanding skills across orthopedic, internal medicine, and rehab disciplines.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build patient intake and vital signs documentation with accuracy in the EHR
- 2Assist during examinations and treatments by preparing rooms and managing supplies
- 3Support physiotherapy sessions by supervising exercises, tracking progress, and ensuring proper equipment use
- 4Manage electronic health records ensuring accurate treatment plans and medical records
- 5Conduct phlebotomy and medication administration under supervision following safety protocols
- 6Coordinate inpatient charting and ICD coding for diagnoses as needed
- 7Maintain a clean organized clinical environment and handle appointment scheduling and follow-up calls
- 8Assist with insurance documentation and patient communication across diverse populations
Requirements5
- 1CMA certification and back office physiotherapy support experience
- 2Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for documentation
- 3Knowledge of ICD coding standards and medical terminology
- 4BLS certification and ability to respond to emergencies
- 5Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
