What You'll Do9
- 1Assist physicians by conducting initial patient assessments and gathering subjective information
- 2Enter patient data into the BCHEMR system and verify accuracy
- 3Monitor patient wellbeing until physician begins examination
- 4Complete patient request forms and coordinate scheduling logistics
- 5Conduct daily inspections of exam and supply rooms to ensure readiness
- 6Travel to satellite offices when required to support physician duties
- 7Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- 8Develop proactive solutions for patient needs within scope of practice
- 9Collaborate with team members to provide seamless care experiences
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 3Current BCLS certification with AED training
- 4One year of clinical experience in medical settings
- 5Ability to read and understand medical documentation
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- 7Strong knowledge of HIPAA and medical privacy laws
- 8Excellent communication skills for patient and staff interactions
- 9Bilingual ability in Spanish and English preferred
