Resolute Language Group seeks qualified Certified Independent Contractor Field Interpreters proficient in Spanish to deliver accurate culturally appropriate confidential interpretation services across diverse settings. Interpreters will facilitate communication between English speakers and limited-English-proficient individuals while upholding professional standards and ethical conduct.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish
- 2Accurately interpret spoken communication without adding omitting or altering meaning
- 3Maintain neutrality confidentiality and impartiality during assignments
- 4Follow professional interpreter ethics and standards of practice
- 5Protect confidential information including PHI in compliance with HIPAA requirements
- 6Maintain professional appearance punctuality and respectful communication
- 7Follow client-site rules policies and procedures
- 8Preserve appropriate role boundaries and avoid providing personal opinions or services outside scope
Requirements5
- 1Current recognized medical healthcare or legal/court interpreting certification
- 2Minimum 2 years professional interpreting experience preferred
- 3Professional fluency in Spanish and English
- 4Ability to provide current certification and documentation upon request
- 5Specialty credentials in medical legal immigration or community interpreting valued
