Center Director, Early Childhood Education & Community Leadership
Overview
Center Directors lead educators and support families in a local KinderCare center ensuring high quality early childhood education. You will hire and develop a strong team, partner with families and licensing authorities, and use sales and marketing skills to grow center enrollment. This role blends people leadership with business accountability, all within a nationwide network delivering research-based curriculum in a community setting. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and partners to make a tangible impact on children’s learning and well-being.
What You'll Do6
- 1Lead a team of educators, hire engaging and committed professionals and foster their development
- 2Partner with parents to provide best care and education for children in the center
- 3Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
- 4Use business, sales, and marketing savvy to grow KinderCare presence and attract new families and children
- 5Drive center growth and enrollment while maintaining high standards of care and compliance with accrediting bodies
- 6Ensure safe, welcoming, and inclusive center environment aligned with center curriculum and policies
Requirements5
- 1At least one year of solid leadership experience with ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
- 2Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- 3Budget and financial accountability with revenue generation experience preferred
- 4NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred
- 5Able to use a computer with basic proficiency and lift a minimum of 40 pounds
