What You'll Do10
- 1Greet every guest with a friendly upbeat attitude and maintain that energy consistently throughout the shift
- 2Accurately ring up orders using the POS system Square and handle cash card and mobile payments
- 3Stay composed and efficient during high-volume rush periods especially mornings
- 4Double-check orders for accuracy before finalizing to reduce mistakes and remakes
- 5Confidently and naturally suggest add-ons upgrades or featured items when appropriate
- 6Communicate clearly and proactively with baristas packers and sandwich makers to keep orders flowing
- 7Answer guest questions about menu items ingredients and daily specials
- 8Keep the front counter and register area clean stocked and organized
- 9Follow proper cash-handling and till reconciliation procedures at open close
- 10Report guest feedback complaints or recurring issues to management
Requirements10
- 1Friendly upbeat and approachable demeanor with strong customer service instincts
- 2Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure during busy rush periods
- 3Basic math skills and comfort operating a point-of-sale POS system
- 4Passion for pastries and coffee is strongly preferred
- 5Excellent attention to detail for order accuracy
- 6Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills
- 7Confidence in upselling and recommending items without being pushy
- 8Prior cashier retail or food service experience is a plus but not required
- 9Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 10Must be available to work weekends regularly with flexibility for early morning shifts holidays and occasional schedule changes
