Overview
You'll take orders, ring up sales, and serve coffee as a cashier at our lively gluten-free bakery and café. You'll greet a diverse customer base, manage the register with accuracy, and keep the front-of-house spotless. Our team of 3 new hires works Monday through Friday with weekend shifts available. You'll join a supportive environment under new ownership and help shape our coffee offerings. As a 100% gluten-free and peanut-free facility, you'll follow strict food safety protocols to ensure a safe space for celiac customers.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet customers warmly and take orders with care.
- 2Operate the cash register and process all payments accurately.
- 3Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to order.
- 4Answer customer questions about our gluten-free menu and ingredients.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area, including wiping counters and restocking supplies.
- 6Restock merchandise, pastries, and café essentials throughout your shift.
- 7Support the team with light food prep, packaging, and labeling of baked goods.
- 8Uphold strict gluten-free and peanut-free protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
- 9Follow all cleaning procedures and ingredient verification processes diligently.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old and seeking non-seasonal work.
- 2Previous customer service or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- 3Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- 4Ability to multitask in a high-volume café environment.
- 5Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- 6Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- 7Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- 8Availability to work either morning shift (6:00 AM – 1:00 PM) or afternoon shift (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM) Monday through Friday.
