You will own the coffee bar at Cecile Bakery Cafe, crafting specialty beverages and delivering warm service in South Miami. You'll prepare espresso drinks, teas, and pastries while keeping the space spotless. Working with a close-knit team, you'll handle transactions and support daily operations. What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare and serve espresso beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and speed.
- 2Guide customers through menu choices, answering questions about coffee origins and flavors.
- 3Keep the coffee bar and dining area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
- 4Handle cash and card payments accurately using the POS system, balancing the drawer at shift end.
- 5Collaborate with bakers and servers to ensure a seamless flow of pastries and drinks.
- 6Adjust beverage recipes to customize sweetness, milk, and temperature for each order.
- 7Restock espresso beans, cups, and ingredients, monitoring inventory levels.
- 8Follow health and safety standards for food handling and equipment maintenance.
- 9Support the team during peak hours, prioritizing quality and atmosphere.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of barista experience in a busy cafe or restaurant.
- 2Strong skill in espresso preparation, including grinding, tamping, and milk steaming.
- 3Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment, such as pour-over and French press.
- 4Friendly demeanor and clear communication with customers and coworkers.
- 5Ability to work quickly while keeping attention to detail in a bustling environment.
