What You'll Do10
- 1Build and finish carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects to meet project specs
- 2Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to guide framing, trim, and finish work
- 3Install doors, windows, cabinets, molding, and other building components
- 4Measure, cut, and assemble materials to exact project requirements
- 5Perform drywall, flooring, roofing, and other construction tasks as needed
- 6Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently and maintain a clean, safe workspace
- 7Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time project completion
- 8Follow safety protocols and document work progress with supervisors
- 9Support multiple projects with adaptability to shift schedules
- 10Document any issues or changes to plans and communicate them promptly
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2Previous carpentry or construction experience
- 3Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings preferred
- 4Experience with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, or other skilled construction work
- 5Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools
- 6Attention to detail and safety
- 7Reliability
- 8Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, and perform physical tasks
