Overview
Lead supportive care for seniors at Mary Queen of Angels Assisted Living in Nashville. Oversee daily personal needs and maintain a safe welcoming environment. This role drives resident satisfaction through compassionate hands-on assistance and proactive communication.
What You'll Do11
- 1Support residents with ADLs while adhering to nursing protocols
- 2Assist with medical procedures and first aid interventions
- 3Maintain clean linens and organized resident rooms
- 4Document observations in medical records under nursing supervision
- 5Perform housekeeping tasks including linen changes and cleaning
- 6Report resident condition changes immediately to nursing staff
- 7Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and staff development
- 8Follow body mechanics and safety protocols for resident transfers
- 9Coordinate transportation to medical appointments
- 10Engage residents in activities and foster social connections
- 11Ensure compliance with facility safety and infection control standards
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience providing senior care
- 2High School Diploma or GED required
- 3CPR certification preferred
- 4Experience with assistive devices and mobility aids
- 5Ability to lift 30-70 lbs. safely
- 6Valid driver's license for commute to Nashville location
- 7Strong communication skills for diverse resident populations
- 8Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- 9Availability for night overtime shifts
- 10Willingness to work weekends and holidays
