What You'll Do7
- 1Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- 2Prepare simple meals following dietary guidelines and client preferences.
- 3Perform light housekeeping such as tidying rooms, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
- 4Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and active listening.
- 5Offer transportation to medical appointments, errands, and social outings using your own vehicle.
- 6Document daily care notes and report any changes in client condition to the office.
- 7Encourage client independence by promoting self-care and mobility within safe limits.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of paid or unpaid caregiver experience in a home care or facility setting.
- 2Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before start.
- 3Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle for client transport.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Pass a background check and drug screening.
