Overview
Evening Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Advanced Health Care of Nashville in Nashville Tennessee onsite payroll. Own direct care for residents supporting independence and comfort. Schedule full-time weekdays weekends 2pm to 10pm. Provide compassionate support and maintain high-quality resident-centered care.
What You'll Do13
- 1Provide direct care to residents under supervision of licensed nursing staff including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding
- 2Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and comfort
- 3Monitor vital signs intake output and report changes to nursing team
- 4Support admission transfers and discharges including orientation and room settling
- 5Engage residents in social activities and accompany them to group events
- 6Maintain clean organized living environment meeting infection control standards
- 7Assist with dining services meal setup feeding and recording intake
- 8Document care and observations accurately following facility policies
- 9Participate in training programs to maintain CNA verification and enhance geriatric care skills
- 10Assist new team members with policy and facility orientation
- 11Contribute to care planning and goal setting through team meetings
- 12Demonstrate professionalism teamwork and effective communication
- 13Perform all other duties assigned
Requirements12
- 1Current CNA or STNA certification in Tennessee
- 2CPR certification
- 31+ years skilled nursing facility experience
- 4Ability to build rapport with residents compassionately
- 5Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- 6Physical ability to sit stand bend reach talk hear stoop kneel crouch stretch twist
- 7Stamina for standing moving frequently responding to emergencies
- 8Emotional resilience for complex healthcare needs
- 9Safe lifting and transferring residents using proper body mechanics
- 10Vision including close distance and peripheral focus adjustment
- 11Regular attendance and ability to accept constructive feedback
- 12Capacity to manage stress and high-pressure situations
