Capital Planning and Investment Control Analyst
Overview
Lead the development and implementation of a structured integrated approach to manage IT investments aligned with USDA mission. Assist in investment reviews and deliver training on CPIC processes. Ensure quality control of reports and task deliverables. This role differs by focusing on CPIC maturity and stakeholder collaboration.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with developing and implementing a structured integrated approach to managing IT investments aligned with USDA mission and business needs while minimizing risks and maximizing returns
- 2Support development and delivery of training on CPIC processes and create guidance documentation for stakeholders
- 3Participate in project gate reviews from a CPIC perspective and complete regular CPIC and budget-related ad hoc reports
- 4Contribute to development of task deliverables ensuring quality control
- 5Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide CPIC support for major and non-major investments
- 6Provide subject matter expertise for CPIC Select Control and Evaluate phases
- 7Work with diverse stakeholders using financial analysis budgeting and communication skills
- 8Support data calls and perform analysis to develop PowerPoint presentations
- 9Maintain and update governance framework documentation
- 10Develop and manage IT investment portfolio management
- 11Respond to policy questions regarding CPIC federal and agency regulations
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in information management business administration or related fields or equivalent experience
- 2Five years of experience providing capital planning and investment control support
- 3Strong understanding of CPIC concepts and requirements
- 4Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders
- 5Experience with financial analysis budgeting and stakeholder engagement
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word PowerPoint Excel SharePoint
- 7Familiarity with CPIC related investment tools
- 8Experience supporting federal agencies with CPIC processes
- 9Knowledge of managing IT investment portfolios
- 10Understanding of responding to CPIC federal and agency policy questions
- 11Excellent written and spoken communication skills
