What You'll Do13

  • 1Develop and review Headquarters Air Force budget preparation and defense documentation
  • 2Provide impartial assessments for Senior Air Force Leadership oversight
  • 3Oversee PEO execution of Air Force Information Dominance programs
  • 4Maintain and analyze planning scheduling budget and management data
  • 5Study and recommend acquisition strategies and program execution plans
  • 6Offer impartial assessments of program and prime contractor issues
  • 7Research program trends identify issues and recommend solutions
  • 8Recommend funding allocations program goals objectives schedules
  • 9Ensure compliance with program direction and identify issues
  • 10Review programmatic issues and tradeoffs concerning capabilities costs schedules
  • 11Evaluate impact of national DoD JCS and civil government policies on Air Force acquisitions
  • 12Prepare PPBE documentation reflecting current programs budgetary status and strategies
  • 13Handle confidential classified information and coordinate tasks

Requirements10

  • 1Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • 2Ten years acquisition experience
  • 3Master’s degree from accredited institution
  • 4Proficiency with FAR-based acquisition approaches under time-sensitive requirements
  • 5Ability to develop strategies aligning capabilities with warfighter needs
  • 6Strong communication with senior DoD officials Congressional members and industry leaders
  • 7Experience managing procurements across full acquisition lifecycle
  • 8Expertise in communicating acquisition phases to stakeholders
  • 9Background in USAF acquisition engineering
