Overview
The Acquisition Specialist SME leads the planning and execution of complex Army IT acquisitions. This role owns the acquisition lifecycle documentation and advises leadership on critical matters. Successful candidates will drive outcomes across multiple scales.

- 9Translate complex IT issues into actionable recommendations
- 10Maintain Business Process Reengineering documentation
- 11Lead technical and acquisition planning initiatives
- 12Provide executive-level briefings and reports
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Acquisition and Contract Management or related field
- 28+ years of DoD or Army acquisition experience
- 3Expertise with DoD 5000 series and FAR/DFARS regulations
- 4Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as SAFe 6.0
- 5Secret security clearance required
- 6Strong communication skills for leadership documentation
- 7Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and PMRT tools
- 8Familiarity with Jira or Power BI for tracking
- 9Certification in acquisition methodologies
- 10Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- 11Experience with Agile acquisition environments
