Campus Staff Minister, Graduate & Faculty Ministry
Overview
As a Campus Staff Minister at Georgetown, you will build witnessing communities among graduate students and faculty, fostering spiritual growth and campus-wide influence. You will lead through Scripture, prayer, and discipleship, aligning teams and programs with InterVarsity's vision. This role requires a deep commitment to Christian faith and ministry, with a focus on graduate and professional students. You will also develop a team of ministry partners who fund and support your work.
What You'll Do10
- 1Pursue a vibrant relationship with the triune God through Scripture, prayer, and worship, both individually and in community.
- 2Develop self-leadership by growing in self-awareness, self-management, relational integrity, and resiliency.
- 3Communicate and model InterVarsity's vision to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed.
- 4Create a culture of humble dependence on God and bold expectation in God's intention to start new witnessing communities throughout the campus.
- 5Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences, ensuring they align their ministry activities around this vision.
- 6Set annual goals through prayer, research, and reflection with your teams for qualitative and quantitative growth, including conversions and leadership development.
- 7Build leadership teams who trust and partner well with you, demonstrating spiritual vitality, relational health, and mission alignment.
- 8Develop and execute plans to achieve annual goals, evaluating and modifying the plan as needed throughout the year.
- 9Mobilize students and faculty to engage their relational networks with the gospel and to start new missional communities.
- 10Raise 100% of the financial budget assigned by your supervisor through developing a team of partners.

- 2Abide by InterVarsity's Code of Conduct.
- 3Believe and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's Human Sexuality Theological Paper.
- 4Affirm and behave consonantly with InterVarsity's 'Women in Ministry Statement of Affirmation'.
- 5Bachelor's degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
- 6Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
- 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 8Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- 9Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.
