Cable and Wire Harness Assembler - 2nd Shift
Overview
You will build wire and cable assemblies for aerospace and defense systems at Amphenol Borisch Technologies. Starting on 1st shift for training, then moving to 2nd shift, you will own the full assembly process from reading schematics to soldering and final inspection. Working with a team of skilled assemblers, you will deliver high-reliability electronic systems. $500 sign-on bonus and every other Friday off set this role apart.
What You'll Do9
- 1Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics to assemble cables and harnesses.
- 2Assemble wires into cable and harness systems per schematic drawings.
- 3Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harnesses.
- 4Assemble electrical components, systems, and subsystems.
- 5Use automatic and hand held wire strippers to strip wire ends.
- 6Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
- 7Solder parts and connections between parts.
- 8Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
- 9Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements10
- 1High School diploma or GED.
- 21+ year of experience with cable and wire assemblies.
- 3Ability to regularly sit, stand, and walk.
- 4Pass a vision exam to inspect work at close distance.
- 5Read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics.
- 6Accurately use measuring tools and do basic math.
- 7Effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly.
- 8Keen attention to detail and quality.
- 9Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 35 pounds.
- 10Work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision.
