Busser Server Assistant Daytime Only
Overview
You will own table turnover and server support at an award-winning daytime-only breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant with 30+ locations across NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL. Work alongside a tight-knit team that closes every day at 3pm, so nights are yours. You will master the rhythm of a high-volume brunch service while earning daily cash tips. This role stands out because most of our managers started as bussers, and we promote from within 65% of the time.
What You'll Do7
- 1Wipe tables and seats to reset each station for the next guest within 2 minutes of seating.
- 2Set tables with condiments and supplies to full readiness before the rush begins.
- 3Scrape and stack dirty dishes, then carry them to the kitchen for cleaning.
- 4Run food from the pass to both bar and server tables, matching orders to seat numbers.
- 5Assist servers with refills, bread, and side requests to keep guests happy.
- 6Respond to guest requests during the shift, from extra napkins to a table move.
- 7Help bus and reset the dining room during peak brunch hours to keep tables turning.
Requirements6
- 1Ability to stand for extended 4-6 hour shifts.
- 2Ability to carry or lift 20 pounds of stacked dishes and supplies.
- 3Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required.
- 4Work schedule includes daytime shifts only; availability between 7am and 3pm.
- 5Must be able to work in a fast environment without compromising cleanliness.
- 6Must be at least 16 years old to comply with state labor laws.
