Business Control Specialist - Third Party
Overview
The role owns and scales governance frameworks for third party relationships ensuring compliance and risk mitigation across Global Payments Solutions. This position drives strategic initiatives that enhance control environments while supporting flexible work arrangements. It focuses on aligning business goals with operational excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and maintain GPS Third Party procedures and playbooks
- 2Partner with GPS senior leaders and cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate third party risks
- 3Prepare materials for governance routines and coordinate escalations to enterprise risk routines
- 4Provide subject matter expertise on third party risk and governance to global business partners
- 5Support execution of required third party requirements including cyber security escalations and vendor assessments
- 6Analyze non-performing third party metrics and create go to green plans
- 7Review data transmission registrations and third party risk assessments for accuracy
- 8Challenge information security remediation plans in partnership with GIS
- 9Align third party processes with single process inventory standards
- 10Conduct audit issue remediation and support regulatory engagements
- 11Guide partners in completing outsourcing materiality assessments
Requirements11
- 13+ years business control experience with third party management or data management
- 2Proven ability to lead large scale projects and drive them to completion
- 3Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadline management
- 4Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize tasks under pressure
- 5Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 6Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools
- 7Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- 8Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment
- 9Track record of developing executive presentations and managing ORCIT action plans
- 10Familiarity with third party information security requirements and audit processes
- 11Shift availability for 1st shift United States locations
