Sr Business Control Specialist Global Commercial Banking
Overview
Lead internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function. Own risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and adhere to enterprise-wide standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance practices to support business continuity efforts
- 2Conduct quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness
- 3Execute QA activities including controlling cases and reporting results
- 4Identify automation opportunities to improve QA program success
- 5Support regulatory exam preparation and internal audit coordination
- 6Partner with AML operations and Treasury/Credit globally for CDD requirements
- 7Act as central point of contact for client outreach and stakeholder coordination
- 8Maintain strong operational risk background and communicate findings in client-friendly manner
- 9Provide peer coaching and develop talent across diverse backgrounds
- 10Ensure accurate documentation and reporting aligned with legal requirements
- 11Drive continuous improvement in control frameworks and compliance processes
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong aptitude for strategic and critical thinking
- 3Proven organizational skills and independent project execution
- 4Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
- 5Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
- 6Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- 7Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- 8Familiarity with legal documentation and CDD
- 9Client facing experience preferred
- 10Awareness of Massachusetts employment laws
