Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer & Senior Analyst in DoD IT
Overview
Owns business process capture and requirements engineering at enterprise scale in a Microsoft SharePoint and IIS environment. Leads process mapping, requirements documentation, and collaboration with software developers to scope efforts and deliver SharePoint and .NET based solutions. Works within SDLC and Agile methodologies, mentoring junior staff and aligning customer needs with technical delivery. This role is unique for its TS/SCI with poly considerations and government-facing project scope.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and document end-to-end business processes and requirements for SharePoint and IIS based deployments
- 2Design process diagrams and flow charts that map customer requirements to technical solutions
- 3Lead scope discussions with software developers and customers to estimate effort and define deliverables
- 4Ship applications for SharePoint deployments with both out-of-the-box configurations and custom code
- 5Own the alignment between customer requirements and SDLC artifacts in Agile contexts
- 6Drive collaboration across teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes
- 7Scale documentation practices to support multiple programs and customers
- 8Mentor junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
- 9Debug and validate requirements against user needs to ensure traceability
Requirements7
- 1Eight years of experience as a Business Analyst capturing and documenting business processes and requirements
- 2Six years of experience as a Business Analyst capturing and documenting software development and IT processes in a Microsoft SharePoint and IIS environment using the .NET framework
- 3Eight years of experience creating process diagrams and mapping business processes to customer requirements
- 4Five years of experience working with software developers and customers to scope projects and estimate levels of effort for SharePoint and IIS solutions
- 5Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
- 6Five years of experience with the SDLC and Agile processes
- 7Certifications: TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance
