What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee all Defense Body Armor manufacturing operations including assembly precision building equipment utilization and production scheduling
- 2Develop and manage monthly production plans capacity forecasts labor requirements and resource allocations
- 3Monitor operational performance implement corrective actions and analyze production data to establish KPIs
- 4Manage labor utilization overtime staffing levels and workforce productivity
- 5Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on safety quality efficiency and lean manufacturing practices
- 6Oversee Defense warehouse operations receiving inventory management material handling storage and distribution
- 7Coordinate material movement to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements
- 8Provide leadership coaching and performance management for supervisors and production personnel
- 9Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 AS9100 customer regulations and ITAR security requirements
- 10Conduct employee evaluations and establish performance improvement plans
- 11Collaborate with supply chain purchasing teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
Requirements11
- 1Fully fluent in English and capable of clear Spanish communication
- 2Strong leadership organizational communication and decision-making abilities
- 3Proven track record leading manufacturing teams in regulated environments
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- 5Experienced in production planning inventory management and warehouse operations
- 6Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement methodologies and operational metrics
- 7Ability to troubleshoot technical and administrative manufacturing challenges
- 8Experience in defense manufacturing body armor or tactical equipment preferred
- 9Ability to perform essential job functions safely meeting ADA FMLA and ITAR standards
- 10Regular attendance punctuality and willingness to work overtime weekends
- 11High school diploma minimum three years manufacturing experience ISO 9001 or AS9100 certification preferred
