Bilingual Teller Retail Banker (Spanish/English) Houston TX
Overview
You will own the customer experience at the branch, processing transactions and opening accounts for a diverse clientele. As part of Woodforest National Bank, you join a team recognized for community service and employee ownership. You will use your bilingual skills in Spanish and English to build relationships and recommend products. This role offers a path to advancement in retail banking, with training in the Woodforest Experience.
What You'll Do7
- 1Achieve individual sales goals by identifying customer needs and recommending bank products, including checking accounts and savings options.
- 2Process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, using banking software.
- 3Open new accounts and perform account maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- 4Complete branch servicing duties: vault balancing, cash ordering, and ATM maintenance.
- 5Resolve customer inquiries with problem-solving, applying the Woodforest Experience principles.
- 6Engage customers in Spanish and English to understand financial needs and offer relevant solutions.
- 7Support nearby branch locations up to 45 miles as needed, covering shifts and maintaining service standards.
Requirements7
- 13+ years of sales and customer service experience, or an Associate's degree with 1 year of experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
- 2Fluency in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
- 3High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4Positive and engaging demeanor with customer focus.
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods, lift items up to 30 lbs, and move within the branch.
- 6Willingness to travel to nearby branches up to 45 miles occasionally.
- 7Previous instore banking experience preferred but not required.
