Overview
We seek a detail oriented bilingual medical scribe to support a fast paced medical practice. This role focuses on real time clinical documentation and assisting providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in the EMR. The ideal candidate is reliable organized and interested in gaining hands on clinical experience.
What You'll Do7
- 1Document patient visits in real time during provider encounters
- 2Accurately capture patient history examination findings assessments and treatment plans
- 3Assist with Spanish English communication and translation for patients when needed
- 4Support provider workflow to improve efficiency during patient visits
- 5Prepare referrals orders forms and other clinical documentation as needed
- 6Provide light clinical or administrative assistance when necessary
- 7Maintain accurate and organized documentation in the EMR
Requirements11
- 1Fluent in Spanish and English required
- 2Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute required
- 3Strong typing skills with ability to document quickly and accurately
- 4Comfortable working in a fast paced clinical environment
- 5Reliable professional punctual and detail oriented
- 6Ability to travel reliably between assigned clinic locations
- 7Available for full time schedule Monday through Friday
- 8Prior medical scribe or healthcare experience
- 9Familiarity with EMR systems
- 10Experience with medical terminology
- 11Interest in healthcare such as pre med pre pa nursing or related fields
