What You'll Do5

  • 1Build rapport with clients in person or by phone to collect information and make eligibility determinations for multiple aid programs
  • 2Design and conduct interviews using data across multiple screens to complete applications and processing steps
  • 3Deliver high quality customer service while guiding applicants through complex eligibility requirements and available resources
  • 4Maintain compliance with agency standards and performance metrics including accuracy, timeliness, and service levels
  • 5Own data entry and verification tasks to ensure accurate eligibility decisions and proper documentation

Requirements9

  • 1One year of experience performing eligibility reviews or one year of customer service experience
  • 2High School Diploma or GED
  • 3Ability to work in person at an Avondale field office or similar onsite location
  • 4Strong computer skills including navigation of multiple screens and software (Google Suite or Microsoft)
  • 5Excellent written and verbal communication with empathetic and patient customer service
  • 6Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 7Demonstrated basic math skills and ability to explain eligibility requirements to diverse applicants
  • 8Access to a vehicle if driving is required for the role
  • 9Pass background and reference checks and comply with E-Verify
